„Ekolat” Ltd. signed a cooperation contract with Institute of Ecology and Geography, Academy of Sciences of Moldova and Daugavpils University. The aim of this cooperation is an experience execution (between Moldova and Latvia) that is relevant to waste management policies implementation in the northern part of Moldova. To contribute to waste management policies implementation, thus reduce negative impact on environment, which is defined by the increase of the waste levels, by the spurring rational waste management implementation that in turn is a part of the environmental management system. The aim of the project is made up of social awareness, and awareness of economic agents and the general public about the need for adequate treatment of waste and its management in the northern part of Moldova.
